TY to all who answered my ~~~~Important question~~~~~. Glad to know I wasn't alone O: I hear it's fixed for some people, not for others, unfortunately I'm still in the 'not' category so hopefully that changes soon!
DA seemed like a good place to post this meme-- it sees the most of my fandoms!
1. Pick three to five fandoms (depending on what you are comfortable with).
2. Proceed to fanboy at length about each one of these fandoms
1. Final Fantasy VI Helllllz yeah. I love FFVI for the fact that absolutely everyone in the cast is loveable. There's not a single character, playable or NPC, who I do not like. Beyond just their personalities, FFVI has Amano's very best character design art IMO for FF. Not to mention the game is so fun I own every version of it that exists (SNES, PS, Advance...) and plan to buy it yet again when they rerelease it yet again in 3d for the DS (they're doing it for 4, which means they MUST do it for 6!). I'm also a giant fantard for it in terms of collection-- I've got about 100 FFVI doujin, no exaggeration! All which I never plan to sell as they are my treasure. This is the fandom who will have my undying loyalty, no matter how many fandoms I go through. (PROTIP: This is why I hate the occasional DA comment I get asking me if I've 'left' the fandom because I don't draw for it for a couple of weeks. I take that as an insult!)
2. South Park South Park was a blessing for me in a lot of ways-- I think out of all my fandoms, it has the most active following on DA (my top 3 most popular pieces are all SP, I believe) and so I was able to meet a lot of cool new people

It's also one of my first fandoms I've gotten into while it's still going on, which is SO nice to be able to look forward to new stuff (unlike most of my other fandoms). In terms of art, I know a lot of my older friends were kind of iffy about me doing it because it was ~~weird~~, but I'm really glad I did. It was a turning point for me to discover that, HAY, there's all sorts of types out there. SP fanart was the first time I really focused on that, giving people specifically different traits and sizes and getting away from that *ideal bish* mode that I admit I was still sort of into in my FFVI art. It really helped me push my limits and discover that I really enjoy doing so! O: Thank you, SP!
3. Silent Hill I barely do ANY Silent Hill art which is a shame since I've been in love with this series since the very first I played in sixth grade. Doing art for it is kind of hard for me since the characters are done in realistic CG, which gives a lot less room for interpretation like in the two above. It's a hump I have to get over because MAN DO I LOVE SH. I love the mix of seriousness and hilariousness in the fandom, a lot of good fanart on both ends. I've played each one at least five-six times and am totally stoked for the two new ones coming out, despite the naysayers. What I'm not so stoked for is the next movie, since they don't know how to just follow the story lines already in place ): But, you know, besides that. Much love.
4. Pokemon CURRENT FANDOM! Well, actually, first fandom. I remember getting a tape in the mail in the beginning of sixth grade, and had NO idea what the series was at the time like the rest of America. The tape had the episode with the S.S. Anne, and then went on to advertise when the show would actually come on television. I had no idea what anime was at the time so it was super intriguing to me at the time. I was pretty darn obsessive with it from then on for some time-- caught it every time it was on television (right when I came home from school!), owned both red and blue as soon as they came out, etc. The first fanart I absolutely ever did was gijinka (pokemon as humans) art, actually! And I did A LOT of it for about a year; I seriously have a three inch thick folder full of just art of that. I fell out of the fandom after gold and silver actually, at least in an active sense.
When D/P came out I wasn't super stoked for it or anything, but I'd bought Ruby and Sapphire in a passive fan way so I figure I'd do the same here.

brought the guide to my house when we were both playing and I noticed Flint's art in it <_< Which was basically when I became smitten and told

AND THE REST IS HIIIISTORY.

Also, didn't this upset you a little bit? How they had a new strategy guide for freaking IV, V, but NOT VI? (The advance versions) I was really looking forward to owning the guide to one of my favorite games. (Since I never got a chance to get the Anthology guide and it's bloody expiensive now.) Oh, the sadness. ;_; Japan got a guide for the advance version! Why not us?
Anyway, I look forward to new FFVI art in the future~ ^.^

(I need to call you today to talk about Friday! We're still on, right? WORKS A BITCH, but ILU and can't wait!)
;_; School's not out for summer anymore.
Oh my god, if they redid FFVI for the DS I would die. I've been waiting for that day ever since they started making spinoffs like X-2 and all those FFVII things. VI's day will come!
Have you seen the preview for 4? Voice acting!! That's what I'm most excited for O:
